Monster Mother's

- Giant Panda
Panda mother's sometime have two babies..bt rarely raise more than one..
Then panda's second offspring..about the size of a stick of butter..is usually left to its fate in the wild..
It's quality control even at birth.

-Hamster
Hamster mum can be cold-blooded killers..they eat their young..
They don't want big broods..they usually have four to 16 young at one go..and ensure only the high quality young to survive in case food turn  out to be scarce.

-Rabbit
Rabbits abandon their young in burrows immediately after birth and return only for a few minutes each day for about 25 days..
After that..the young are left to fend for themselves,,there is a reason the rabbits don't want predators to know where the youngs ones are.

-Long Tail Skink
The long tailed skink is a terrible mother..if she lays a clucth of eggs when there are predators around.. she will likely gobble them all up..
If she decide the eggs cannot make it because of the predators..she decides she might as well take the nutrients for herself  before the next brood.
